Tournament Format

5th B. K. Gupta Memorial Interschool Cricket Tournament format will be as per following points:

20 teams will participate in the tournament.
In Round 1, 20 teams willbe grouped into 4 groups (Group-A, Group-B, Group-C, Group-D) of 5 teams each. Four league matches will be given to all the teams.
Each winning team will get 2 points for league match. In case a tie occurs in a group among teams, team with highest run rate will qualify.
The top 2 teams from each group in round 1 will qualify for the Quarter Final round.
